Abe and I walked Jace to his classroom and he immediately walked in with an excited look on his face and asked us what he should do first. We told him whatever he wants. He went right over to 2 other boys playing with some trains and joined in. As Abe and I moved our way to the back of the room to observe he never even looked back to see where we were. We stuck around for about 15 minutes or so and realized he was going to do just fine. We told him "goodbye" and he just said, "see you later." Never shed a tear or asked us to stay...nothing! What a big boy he has turned in to. He has NEVER been left with anyone besides us of course and my parents. What a big day for Jace!!
After 3 long hours (for me of course) it was finally time to pick him up. We were there by 11:30am and anxiously awaited for 11:45 to come so we could find out about his day. Jace said his day was good and that he likes school. My Mom and I drilled him with questions and can say every answer he gave was a positive one. I of course asked him if he missed me and his answer was "just a little bit." I am sure he really did not even think about me. He said he made lots of new friends but could not remember their names. Jace said, "Mrs. Debbie told me it is ok if I do not remember their names because we will still be friends forever." So cute! Jace is already asking if he can go to school again tomorrow but I told him he has to wait until Thursday. (He only goes 2 days a week)
Here are a few pictures before the big day!!
Telling me and Jaden about everything is going to learn.

He was telling Jaden that he has to go and not to worry...he will be back soon!
